I’m Alicia Franklin-Edwards, a coach, strategist, and speaker who helps people work through challenges and live with intention. I know firsthand what it’s like to face major setbacks and still reach important personal goals. Not through theory, but because I’ve lived it. I get you. I feel you. I am someone who will encourage you honestly and help you accomplish what once seemed impossible.
Alicia Franklin-Edwards
I am a born-again Christian who is open about my faith and have been involved with many outreach ministries. I bring over 40 years of walking with God into everything I do. With compassion and honesty, I help people identify what’s holding them back from making progress. By recognizing the habits, thought patterns, and choices that have been keeping them stuck, they are able to make lasting changes in their everyday lives.

Coaching Expertise
I’ve been a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) with the International Coach Federation since 2009 and trained under the International Coach Academy. Using practical tools and accountability, I teach clients how to develop a strategy, establish solid routines, and follow through on the priorities they care about most.
My professional background spans finance, human resources, event coordination, property management, and emergency preparedness for a large agency. I’ve managed projects and teams that required goal-setting, action plans, timelines, and holding people accountable. I’ve helped those who others thought could never succeed do well.
Passion & Impact
Health and wellness are deeply personal to me. My family history of diabetes and cardiovascular disease drives my commitment to healthy living. I pioneered several employee wellness initiatives and most known for my 175-lb. weight-loss success story, featured in First for Women, ShapeFit, and Women’s Day.
I also created “What’s Eating You,” a self-worth and body image workshop for young girls, reflecting my commitment to caring for the whole person, spiritually, mentally, and physically. My mission is to guide and encourage people to live fully and walk in the purpose God has for them.
Personal Life & Connection
A native of Washington, DC, I now live in Maryland with my husband of over 20 years. I also enjoy spending time with my stepdaughter and granddaughter. You might also find me at a festival, traveling, or walking in nature. Above all, my greatest desire is to be a blessing to everyone I meet. I believe that deep fulfillment comes from living according to God’s plan for your life.
